JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
At Pace Academy, our Junior High School Curriculum is an integrated blend of academic excellence, cultural understanding, and Christian values. Grounded in the rich heritage of Filipino and Chinese traditions, our program transcends conventional learning. We cultivate a tapestry of knowledge, nurturing a passion for learning, a profound appreciation for cultural roots, and a firm grounding in Christian values. Through a diverse curriculum, we empower students to embrace their individual identity, fostering intellectual growth, cultural pride, and a robust moral foundation. At Pace Academy, education is a transformative journey, shaping young minds for a purposeful and principled future.
The Junior High School program (Grades 7-10) is the subsequent phase of education following elementary schooling. It provides secondary education for students seeking either an academic or vocational track in senior high school, as well as preparation for those advancing to tertiary education.
Adopting a spiral progression approach across content areas, the program offers specialized content within these areas. It aims to develop students as trans-formative agents of positive change in society, utilizing a responsive and relevant curriculum per the Department of Education’s guidelines.
The pedagogical approaches employed are constructive, inquiry-based, reflective, collaborative, and integrative. Leveraging digital learning tools, the program is designed to be more differentiated and personalized. Core curriculum areas include Integrated Language Arts (English, Filipino), Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry), Social Sciences (Araling Panlipunan, TLE, Values Education), and the Arts (Music, Art, PE).
Grade 1 – Grade 12 Document Requirements:
– Birth Certificate
– 1 x 1 ID
– Immunization Record
– Medical Certificate (Indicate if the student has any medical condition that we should be aware of. It would also be best if it contains confirmation that the child is fit to attend onsite classes)
– Progressive Report Card
– Certificate of Good Moral Character
– Form 137 (If transferee)
