GRADE SCHOOL PROGRAM
At Pace Academy, our Gradeschool Curriculum is a harmonious blend of academic excellence, cultural appreciation, and Christian values. Rooted in the rich traditions of Filipino and Chinese heritage, our program goes beyond conventional learning. We weave the fabric of knowledge, instilling a love for learning, a deep understanding of cultural roots, and a strong foundation in Christian values. Through a diverse curriculum, we empower students to embrace their unique identity, fostering intellectual growth, cultural pride, and a strong moral compass. At Pace Academy, education is not just about imparting knowledge; it’s a transformative journey that prepares young minds for a purposeful and principled future.
Aligned with the K-12 initiative of the Department of Education, Pace Academy’s Fundamental Education spans from kindergarten through grade school (Grades 1-6), junior high school (Grades 7-10), to specialized academic tracks in senior high school (Grades 11-12).
The Grade School curriculum follows a spiral progression approach, adhering to the Department of Education’s guidelines. This method involves the gradual introduction and deepening of concepts across subjects as students advance through grade levels. By reinforcing prior knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing reflective skills, the program prepares students for the challenges of their educational journey.
The core curriculum comprises eight (8) learning areas: Integrated Language Arts (Filipino and English), Science, Mathematics, Civics (Social Sciences), Values Education, TLE with Computer, and MAPE (Music, Arts, PE).
Grade 1 – Grade 12 Document Requirements:
– Birth Certificate
– 1 x 1 ID
– Immunization Record
– Medical Certificate (Indicate if the student has any medical condition that we should be aware of. It would also be best if it contains confirmation that the child is fit to attend onsite classes)
– Progressive Report Card
– Certificate of Good Moral Character
– Form 137 (If transferee)
